I can't say for sure, we used them at a baby shower on resin tables. Any liquid spilled did stay in a puddle on the top. Nor exactly premium quality, they are pretty thin. 2)Question: Thickness?Answer: Depends on the color.  Very thin and tears easily. 3)Question: Are the gold table covers really gold in color, not brownish?Answer: I can't attest to the Gold, but the Light Yellow that we purchased was a very, primary yellow and a little deeper in tone than we expected. The product is really pretty good for the price.
